A calm view of Skiathos

Municipality of Skiathos · An invitation to local businesses

Become an autism-friendly business

Training, clear criteria and the Municipality's mark — at no cost to take part.

One in a hundred families travels with an autistic member, and chooses destinations it knows will welcome them properly. This initiative gives you the knowledge and the mark that makes it visible — funded by the Ioannis S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and delivered by Open Horizons.

How it works

The mark

An assessment you can show your customers — not a self-declaration and not something you buy.

  • Customers who are looking for you
  • Public visibility in the directory and on the map
  • Trained staff
  • Transparent criteria, published in advance
What the mark is
  • Staff trained in autism awareness basics
  • Clear, simple information about services and spaces
  • Flexible service and the ability to adapt
  • Plus category-specific criteria for accommodation, food service, shops and services.
